A kurta is an upper garment for both men and women. The kurta comes in various styles and fittings. They were traditionally worn with loose-fitting paijama (kurta-paijama), loose-fitting shalwars, semi-tight (loose from the waist to the knees, and tight from the calves to the ankles) churidars, or wrapped-around dhotis.
Synthetic fabrics are textiles made from man-made rather than natural fibers. Eg polyester, acrylic, nylon, rayon, acetate, spandex, latex, Orlon and Kevlar. Synthetic fabrics have many different qualities which are not achievable with natural fibers, eg synthetic fabric can provide waterproof fabrics and elastic fabrics for swimwear and underpants.
